BNS Section 6 — Fractions of terms of punishment

दण्डावधियों की भिन्नों की गणना करने में, अन्यथा उपबंधित के सिवाय, आजीवन कारावास को बीस वर्ष के कारावास के समतुल्य गिना जाएगा ।

In calculating fractions of terms of punishment, imprisonment for life shall be reckoned as equivalent to imprisonment for twenty years unless otherwise provided.
