BNSS Section 275 — Conviction on plea of guilty

यदि अभियुक्त दोषी होने का अभिवाक् करता है तो मजिस्ट्रेट अभियुक्त का अभिवाक् यथासंभव उन्हीं शब्दों में लेखबदूध करेगा जिनका अभियुक्त ने प्रयोग किया है और उसके आधार पर उसे, स्वविवेकानुसार, दोषसिद्ध कर सकेगा

If the accused pleads guilty, the Magistrate shall record the plea as nearly as possible in the words used by the accused and may, in his discretion, convict him thereon.
