BNSS Section 59 — Police to report apprehensions

पुलिस थानों के भारसाधक अधिकारी, जिला मजिस्ट्रेट को, या उसके द्वारा ऐसा निदेश देने पर, उपखंड मजिस्ट्रेट को, अपने-अपने थानों की सीमाओं के भीतर वारंट के बिना गिरफ्तार किए गए सब व्यक्तियों के मामलों की रिपोर्ट करेंगे, चाहे उन व्यक्तियों की जमानत ले ली गई हो या नहीं ।

Officers in charge of police stations shall report to the District Magistrate, or, if he so directs, to the Sub-divisional Magistrate, the cases of all persons arrested without warrant, within the limits of their respective stations, whether such persons have been admitted to bail or otherwise.
