न्यायालय वह दिन नियत करते समय जिस दिन वादपत्र का उत्तर '[सरकार] द्वारा दिया जाना है, इतना युक्तियुक्त समय अनुज्ञात करेगा जितना सरकार को आवश्यक संसूचना उचित प्रणाली द्वारा भेजने के लिए और [सरकार] “*** की ओर से उपसंजात होने और उत्तर देने के लिए [सरकारी प्लीडर] को अनुदेश देने के लिए आवश्यक हो और उस समय को स्वविवेकानुसर बढ़ा सकेगा, “किन्तु इस प्रकार बढ़ाया गया समय कुल मिलाकर दो मास से अधिक नहीं होगा ।]

Official text

The Court, in fixing the day for 3[the Government] to answer to the plaint, shall allow a reasonable time for the necessary communication with the Government through the proper channel, and for the issue of instructions to the 7[Government pleader] to appear and answer on behalf of 8[the Government] 9***, and may extend the time at its discretion 10[but the time so extended shall not exceed two months in the aggregate].
