वस्तु स्थावर सम्पत्ति है--जहां वाद की विषय-वस्तु स्थावर सम्पत्ति है वहां वादपत्र में सम्पत्ति का ऐसा वर्णन होगा जो उसकी पहचान कराने के लिए पर्याप्त है और उस दशा में जिसमें ऐसी सम्पत्ति की पहचान भू-व्यवस्थापन या सर्वेक्षण संबंधी अभिलेख में की सीमाओं या संख्यांकों द्वारा की जा सकती है, वादपत्र में ऐसी सीमाएं या संख्यां क विनिर्दिष्ट होंगे ।

Where the subject-matter of the suit is immovable property, the plaint shall contain a description of the property sufficient to identify it, and, in case such property can be identified by boundaries or numbers in a record of settlement or survey, the plaint shall specify such boundaries or numbers.
