Full text (English)
(1) If any person, in respect of whom an order requiring security is made under section 125 or section 136, is at the time such order is made, sentenced to, or undergoing a sentence of, imprisonment, the period for which such security is required shall commence on the expiration of such sentence.
(2) In other cases such period shall commence on the date of such order unless the Magistrate, for sufficient reason, fixes a later date.

पूरा पाठ (हिंदी)
(1) यदि कोई व्यक्ति, जिसके बारे में प्रतिभूति की अपेक्षा करने वाला आदेश धारा 25 या धारा 36 के अधीन दिया गया है, ऐसा आदेश दिए जाने के समय कारावास के लिए दंडादिष्ट है या दंडादेश भुगत रहा है तो वह अवधि, जिसके लिए ऐसी प्रतिभूति की अपेक्षा की गई है, ऐसे दंडादेश के अवसान पर प्रारंभ होगी ।
(2) अन्य दशाओं में ऐसी अवधि, ऐसे आदेश की तारीख से प्रारंभ होगी, जब तक कि मजिस्ट्रेट पर्याप्त कारण से कोई बाद की तारीख नियत न करे ।
