Full text (English)
Where—
(a) the offences committed by any person are such that he may be charged with, and tried at one trial for, each such offence by virtue of the provisions of section 242, section 243 or section 244; or
(b) the offence or offences committed by several persons are such that they may be charged with and tried together by virtue of the provisions of section 246, the offences may be inquired into or tried by any Court competent to inquire into or try any of the offences.

जहां,--
(क) किसी व्यक्ति द्वारा किए गए अपराध ऐसे हैं कि प्रत्येक ऐसे अपराध के लिए धारा 242, धारा 243 या धारा 244 के उपबंधों के आधार पर एक ही विचारण में उस पर आरोप लगाया जा सकता है और उसका विचारण किया जा सकेगा ; या
(ख) कई व्यक्तियों द्वारा किया गया अपराध या किए गए अपराध ऐसे हैं कि उनके लिए उन पर धारा 246 के उपबंधों के आधार पर एक साथ आरोप लगाया जा सकता है और विचारण किया जा सकेगा,
वहां अपराध की जांच या विचारण ऐसे न्यायालय द्वारा किया जा सकता है जो उन अपराधों में से किसी की जांच या विचारण करने के लिए सक्षम है ।
