Full text (English)
If a document is alleged to be signed or to have been written wholly or in part by any person, the signature or the handwriting of so much of the document as is alleged to be in that person's handwriting must be proved to be in his handwriting.

यदि कोई दस्तावेज, किसी व्यक्ति द्वारा हस्ताक्षरित या पूर्णत: या भागतः लिखा गया अभिकथित है, तो यह साबित करना होगा कि वह हस्ताक्षर या उस दस्तावेज के उतने का हस्तलेख, जितने के बारे में यह अभिकथित है कि वह उस व्यक्ति के हस्तलेख में है, उसके हस्तलेख में है ।
