Full text (English)
No person shall be compelled to pay any taxes, the proceeds of which are specifically appropriated in payment of expenses for the promotion or maintenance of any particular religion or religious denomination.

किसी भी व्यक्ति को ऐसे करों का संदाय करने के लिए बाध्य नहीं किया जाएगा जिनके आगम किसी विशिष्ट धर्म या धार्मिक संप्रदाय की अभिवृद्धि या पोषण में व्यय करने के लिए विनिर्दिष्ट रूप से विनियोजित किए जाते हैं ।
