Full text (English)
Every summons for the attendance of a person to give evidence or to produce a document shall specify the time and place at which he is required to attend, and also whether his attendance is required for the purpose of giving evidence or to produce a document, or for both purposes; and any particular document, which the person summoned is called on to produce, shall be described in the summons with reasonable accuracy.

साक्ष्य देने या दस्तावेज पेश करने को किसी व्यक्ति की हाजिरी के लिए हर समन में वह समय और स्थान विनिर्दिष्ट होगा जिसमें वह हाजिर होने के लिए अपेक्षित है और यह भी विनिर्दिष्ट होगा कि उसकी हाजिरी साक्ष्य देने के प्रयोजन के लिए या दस्तावेज पेश करने के प्रयोजन के लिए या दोनों प्रयोजनों के लिए अपेक्षित है और ऐसी कोई विशिष्ट दस्तावेज जिसे पेश करने की समनित व्यक्ति से अपेक्षा की गई है, समन में युक्तियुक्त शुद्धता के साथ वर्णित होगी ।
