BNSS Section 237 — Words in charge taken in sense of law under which offence is punishable
In every charge words used in describing an offence shall be deemed to have been used in the sense attached to them respectively by the law under which such offence is punishable.
प्रत्येक आरोप में अपराध का वर्णन करने में उपयोग में लाए गए शब्दों को उस अर्थ में उपयोग में लाया गया समझा जाएगा, जो अर्थ उन्हें उस विधि द्वारा दिया गया है जिसके अधीन ऐसा अपराध दंडनीय है ।
