Endorsement of time and manner of service
Full text (English)
The serving officer shall, in all cases in which the summons has been served under rule 16, endorse or annex, or cause to be endorsed or annexed, on or to the original summons, a return stating the time when and the manner in which the summons was served, and the name and address of the person (if any) identifying the person served and witnessing the delivery or tender of the summons.

तामील करने वाला अधिकारी उन सभी दशाओं में, जिनमें समन की तामील नियम 6 के अधीन की गई है उस समय को जब और उस रीति को जिससे समन की तामील की गई थी और यदि ऐसा कोई व्यक्ति है जिसने उस व्यक्ति को, जिस पर तामील की गई है, पहचाना था और जो समन के परिदान या निविदान का साक्षी रहा था तो उसका नाम और पता कथित करने वाली विवरणी मूल समन पर पृष्ठांकित करेगा या कराएगा या मूल समन से उपाबद्ध करेगा या कराएगा ।
